About Me
Dr. Sameer Mani Acharya Dixit is a biomedical research scientist with over 20 years of experience in basic and applied science, focusing on infectious diseases. He obtained his postgraduate and Doctorate degrees in Immunology and Recombinant DNA technology from Australia. Dr. Dixit has over 15 years of experience in public health research and has been actively involved in various academic and programmatic research of public health importance as a Team Leader/Principal Investigator. He has developed working relationships with various national and international organizations and holds an honorary board position at Nepal Public Health Foundation, an NGO think tank that focuses on public health issues. Dr. Dixit’s strength is in planning and implementing field and laboratory-based biomedical research in infectious diseases of public health importance in developing countries.
