Dr. Yadav Sapkota, an Assistant Member in the Department of Epidemiology and Cancer Control, specializes in assessing the long-term toxicities of cancer treatments in childhood cancer survivors. With a PhD from the University of Alberta, Canada, Dr. Sapkota is an expert in genetic epidemiology, integrated multi-omics approaches, and genetic contributions to health disparities. Through his research, he utilizes cutting-edge techniques such as functional genomics with human induced pluripotent stem cells and polygenic risk prediction to advance our understanding of cancer therapies, genetic factors, and health outcomes.
