Keynote Speaker Announcement: Dr. Maxine Caws

The conference, set to take place later this year, will bring together experts from various fields in biotechnology to discuss and exchange ideas on emerging trends and research findings in the industry.

Dr Max Caws is a Senior Tuberculosis Researcher at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and works with BNMT Nepal in Kathmandu. She is the Principal Investigator for several research projects, including the IMPACT TB consortium and the Epidemic Intelligence consortium project on COVID-19 sequencing. Dr Caws has worked on TB for over 20 years and has a wide range of research interests, from bacilli evolution and diagnostics to drug resistance and socio-economic aspects. She was previously Head of the Tuberculosis Research Group at Oxford University and has published over 100 articles in international peer-reviewed journals. Dr Caws is supported by several funding organizations and holds multiple degrees in Biochemistry, Epidemiology, and Immunology.
